REBEL COMMANDO Rebel Commando - Revenge of the Jedi Revenge of the Jedi
Released in November 2010, Return of the Jedi was the focus of the third wave of The Vintage Collection which comprised virtually all-new figures. Both Yoda and Wedge Antilles appeared at a later date to the rest of the wave, with Hasbro citing production issues as the reason for the delay. Many of the figures in this wave also saw a re-release in 2011 on chase variant Revenge of the Jedi cards which were also available in the San Diego Comic-Con 2011 Exclusive Revenge of the Jedi Death Star Set.

About This Figure
  • Rebel Commando II is a kit-bashed repaint of 2010's The Vintage Collection Rebel Commando with the head from 2006's The Saga Collection Rebel Trooper (version I) and was initially released as part of the San Diego Comic-Con 2011 Exclusive Revenge of the Jedi Death Star Set in July 2011 and later on a single card with the Revenge of the Jedi logo
  • The photo used on the cardback shows the trooper wearing infantry uniform, which has previously been seen on previous versions of this figure released in 1998, 2002 and 2006. That said, this particular uniform is that worn by a sergeant

North American Tri-Logo Card Variations

Celebration Anaheim Survival Guide
Moving into our nineteenth year of shooting Star Wars collectibles, we pause for a moment to consider legacy. Our photography is obviously recognizable because of the blue background, but looking further back, especially after we published The Man Who Shot Luke Skywalker galleries last December, we've put our minds to offering more classic Kenner backgrounds to our galleries. Follow this link to have a look and then let us know if you'd like to continue to explore this train of thought.
Focus on the Rebelscum legacy and keep it blue.
I love the nod to Kenner's history. I'd love to see Rebelscum embrace a more colourful vision.
