Young Reader

Young Adult books are geared to younger readers between the ages of 9-12. The tend to focus on younger characters or present the material in a more simplistic way. These stories have existed since the beginnings of the franchise, but have expanded their appeal (and the continuity) through the Prequel era.

Capitalizing on the back story of the young Boba Fett, this series explores his life during and immediately after Episode II, and his adventures as he tries to become self sufficient in the galaxy.

Choose an Adventure

These stories provide readers a myriad of storylines, as they can choose what paths the characters take. Will the story end happy or sad? Will the characters survive or perish? Read them through multiple times for multiples endings.

Droids

Even though the Droids television series was short lived, fans can relive their adventures in these books inspired by the series. Some of these titles were only available in the United Kingdom

Episode I Adventures

Ewoks

Based on the television series of the same name, the Ewoks books tell the continuing stories of Wicket, Princess Kneesa and their friends. Some titles are based on episodes of the TV series, while others are original tales about the furry creatures on the forest moon of Endor.

Galaxy of Fear

The Galaxy of Fear titles stem from the popularity of other Young Adult fiction such as R.L. Stein's Goosebumps series.

Jedi Apprentice

Jedi Apprentice was the first in a series of prequel-era books aimed at young readers. It follows the adventures of a teenage Obi-Wan Kenobi and his Master Qui-Gon Jinn.

Jedi Prince

This series of books, now often referred to as the Jedi Prince collection, follows the adventures of the young hero Ken and the rebel heroes against the supposed son of Palpatine, Trioculus.

Jedi Quest

The Jedi Quest books were a continuation of the Jedi Apprentice series started after Episode I. Instead of focusing on Master Qui-Gon Jinn and a young Obi-Wan Kenobi, these feature Kenobi as the Master, and a young Anakin Skywalker.

Junior Jedi Knights

Last of the Jedi

The Last of the Jedi series picks up where Jedi Quest left off and follows Obi-Wan, Ferus Olin and a few other surviving Jedi after the events of Revenge of the Sith.

Rebel Force

This series of young reader novels, follows the heroes of the Rebellion shortly after the destruction of the first Death Star. Join Princess Leia, Luke Skywalker and the rest as they try to evade capture by the Empire.

Shadows of the Empire

Shadows of the Empire was a multi-media blitz that created a 'movie without the movie' in between Empire and Jedi. It went as far to include books, comics, video games, soundtracks and action figures.

Star Wars Junior

Also subtitled "My First Star Wars Adventure", this Scholastic subscription book club shipped starting in November of 1999 through the school market and featured an Activity Magazine alongside the book.

The Clone Wars

These titles are all based on the movie and the television series, The Clone Wars. Most, but not all of them are adaptations of specific episodes. So come along and join the adventures of Anakin Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Clone Captain Rex and Anakin's padawan Ahsoka as they battle the droid armies of the separatists, General Grievous and Count Dooku for control of the galaxy!

Young Jedi Knights

Young Jedi Knights, or YJK for short, follow the adventures of the Solo twins, Jaina and Jacen while they attend the Jedi academy on Yavin 4. Characters introduced in this series include Tenel Ka, and Lowbacca.
