While most of us focus our Star Wars collections on the toys released, for some collectors (myself included) another fun focus is collecting magazines promoting the feature films and thankfully there will be many to come as Episode VII gets closer to release. For instance, the next issue of GQ has Adam Driver on the cover in a very Corellian-inspired wardrobe. Click the thumbnail for a closer look. This issue is currently out in Los Angeles and New York. It will be released everywhere else on August 26.

The latest addition to The Black Series section of our photo archive is not only another character debut, it is also the stand alone best figure in the 3 3/4-inch wave 4 assortment, and that says something since the entire assortment is pretty cool. Twenty years ago today the Star Wars Generation saw the fourth (and possibly most) significant light in a very dark tunnel when, following Timothy Zahn's Star Wars: Heir To The Empire novels, Stephen J. Sansweet's Star Wars: From Concept, To Screen, To Collectible book, and Jon Bradley Snyder's Report From The Star Wars Generation magazine, The Archive first hit the internet. The team at would like to congratulate all involved in 1994 for paving the road we all travel on today. The sixth figure in the Disney Store exclusive talking Star Wars action figure collection has been added to their online store. Follow this link to check out the 13 1/2-inch Boba Fett figure. While this figure, like the Chewbacca figure that was released two weeks ago, doesn't have an official release date it is only a matter of time before it is available at your local Disney Store. Hats off to Rebelscum readers Tray C. and Richard S. for the heads up.

As we reported yesterday, the shelves at Toys "R" Us are chock-full of Star Wars items right now, and judging by the planogram that Rebelscum reader Ben C. sent to us, Walmart will soon be getting in on the act too! As Ben points out, on the bottom of the sheet, it states that implement week is this week (08/18/14). Click on the thumbnail above for a closer look and what will be cramming the section!
