The first version of the Imperial Scanning Crew from the Death Star includes half of the scanning equipment crate that would have been used to find life forms aboard the Millennium Falcon, if they ever got a chance to use it. Whatever happened to these guys, anyway...did they get stuffed in the smuggling compartments?

The paperback version of James Luceno's Millennium Falcon is in stores now. This book is the standalone follow up to the Legacy of the Force series, but also provides some history of this most famous ship. You should be able to find this book at any local bookseller for $7.99!

Today's Photo Archive update features another figures from the Legacy Collection! Continuing this week's spotlight of the figure from wave 10 is a "new" version of Chewbacca, who now comes with a new head sculpt and a communications headset. Although this wave stars characters from A New Hope, this figure of the Millennium Falcon co-pilot actually sports a hairstyle shown in Return of the Jedi...try not to think about it.

The Seattle Area Lucasfilm Artifact Collectors Club, or SARLACC for short, have opened the ordering for their "No, I don't have a landing permit" 2009 Charity Pin. This 1.5” cloisonné lapel pin is being offered to collectors for a donation of only $10. The Proceeds benefit the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center.
