Photo Archive: Legacy Collection - R2-D2

This week, the Photo Archive updates return with a focus on the Legacy Collection! Picking up where we left off, let's check out wave 10, which is based on characters from A New Hope. Up first is the latest version of R2-D2, which combines the droid's entire "Jawa Capture" ordeal into a single release, allowing for a "new" figure to be made.

This week at K-Mart stores...all Star Wars basic figures (Legacy Collection, The Clone Wars, and Saga Legends) are buy one, get one free. In addition, the same sale applies to all 3¾" figure from G.I.Joe, Spider-Man(?) and Wolverine figures. I'm guessing they mean Hasbro's Marvel Universe line, since there isn't a 3¾" Spider-Man line...yet. If you are looking to build your armies or get the latest waves (like the one shown above), then head to your local store.

I keep forgetting to post this, as it's pretty old news by now, but there was an ad for it in today's paper....the Crimson Empire exclusive set of action figures is now on sale at Rite Aid stores for only $19.99. If you are still looking for this set figures from one of the best EU stories ever told, head to your local store.

Target Geonosis Arena Showdown Sets Now Only $9.99

Target is reducing the price on the Geonosis Arena Showdown sets this week to only $9.99 each. Each set includes a Jedi Knight facing off against a Separatist with a background diorama that forms half of the arena from Attack of the Clones.

The latest Photo Archive update is here, and it's another figure from the Legacy Collection! Although there has been some bad news lately with these running change variations from The Empire Strikes Back, here is one that is hitting store shelves now...the second version of the Ugnaught. This ugly figure (which is a good thing for Star Wars aliens) is a great addition to the line. If you see him, buy two!

Here's another Photo Archive update featuring the Build-A-Droid figures in wave 9 of the Legacy Collection! The final figure in this wave is another astromech droid, this time from Attack of the Clones. R5-C7 can be seen rolling around the streets of Tatooine, and now right into your collection.

Today's Photo Archive update continues the week-long series of updates featuring wave 9 of the Legacy Collection! Since this wave had 8 (9 if you count the Ewoks) in it, that means we get 2 Build-A-Droids...the first is an astromech seen very briefly aboard the Death Star in A New Hope. R3-M3 can be seen roaming the halls behind Ben Kenobi, and now rolling along into your collection.
