It's hard to believe the modern era of Star Wars collecting began twenty years ago this year. The Power Of The Force (II) line made its musclebound debut at the 1995 International Toy Fair, and was found at retail the following September. The original card backs, as you likely know, was orange with a silver logo and it were revised to green with a gold logo in 1997, but there was an extremely small transitional release that saw eight debut figures on orange cards with a gold logo in the last weeks of 1996. We've always been fond of this transitional wave and we think they have stood the test of time. Follow this link to have a closer look at this great sub set in the line that started it all.
