In 2005, Converse released four Star Wars influenced products exclusively in Japan. The collection featured Stormtrooper flip flops and three pairs of Chuck Taylor high tops including the fairly decent white leather sneaks with a single Star Wars logo on the tongue and the two black pairs that featured embroidered multicolour Rebel and Imperial logos all over the sneaks. Even though the black ones were released with both bright and subdued logos, the released shoes looked terrible. Despite their limited nature, the last pair to go up on ebay ended without a single person touching the $850.00 starting bid, so why would a seller with zero feedback think $7,000.00 starting bid was a good idea? Have a look and then let us know what you think.
