COMING SOON
A pair of slides show the cover art for the new
Ahsoka novel by E.K. Johnston, as well as a couple of new "Backstory" books focusing on Princess Leia and Darth Vader. LEGO fans will enjoy a new
Star Wars Face-Off book that offers 29 different match-ups. The second slide shows a small amount of the Rogue One titles associated with that film, including James Luceno's
Catalyst: A Rogue One Novel,
The Ultimate Visual Guide to
Rogue One, DK's
Ultimate Sticker Collection, a
Profiles and Poster book plus
Make Your Own U-Wing book and model kit.
DISNEY PRESS
Disney Press offers a look at the model sheets for a number of their Reader and 8x8 books, both from the Classic and Sequel Trilogies. They also present an entire slide showcasing
Luke and Lost Jedi Temple, which is written by Jason Fry and apparently adapted from an earlier book that he wrote.
They also present the art from several existing titles including the World of Reading
Trapped In The Death Star,
The Original Trilogy Storybook, and
The Force Awakens Storybook, plus a model sheet for the art style from these titles. Also shown is a sneak peek of
The Phantom Menace Read-Along Storybook and CD softcover, due in January 2017.
ABRAMS/Ralph McQuarrie
Abrams has some new detail images from their comprehensive Ralph McQuarrie two-volume set due out in October 2016. We first heard about this at
Celebration Anaheim 2015, and are excited to see how it turns out.
DK
DK books show off covers for their revised editions of
Star Wars: Complete Locations now including
The Force Awakens, and
Star Wars Year by Year. Also on display was
Darth Vader, Rebel Hunter, a
Rebels reader and Vile Villains an Ultimate Sticker Collection book.
Egmont
European fans will be excited that there are more Wild Space titles coming from Egmont Press, plus they showed off a pair of papercraft and activity books. What looks most interesting is a
Complete Atlas title, which we hope will be available in the U.S., and is something that has been talked about for many years. Looks like its finally becoming a reality.
