After a successful appearance at the QWARTZ mall in Paris, this space fighter is now being exhibited alongside fighter craft of a more Earthly variety at the International Paris Air Show from June 17th to 23rd.

Weighing in at more than 3 metric tons and comprising of 1.5 million bricks, this full-scale version of 75218 X-Wing Starfighter took 2,500 hours over 3 months to build and measures nine by ten metres.

This isn't the first time LEGO have upscaled an X-Wing set, with the most recent occurence taking place in Australia for the May The 4th Be With You festivies, and in 2013 when a version of the (now retired) 9493 X-Wing Starfighter was rolled out at New York's Times Square to mark the launch of the Yoda Chronicles series on TV.
