Rebelscum reader Joe Ciano reports:

Hi Guys!

I wanted to let you know that there is a variation to the wookiee warrior figure. The first ones we found (in the past week) were light tan in color (and match the pictures on the back of the card.) The ones that showed up this morning were a darker brown color and in my opinion look much better than the tan. A couple of Targets had only the brown but one had the tan and the brown. Unfortunately, I don't have a digital camera so can't send proof. I may be able to send a scan this evening if my scanner will take a decent shot of the difference.

Thanks!
Joe

Not a huge surprise considering Hasbro included a duplication of the Wookiee Warrior in their figure subscription program, but a welcome one for many army builders. Frankly, I was a little disappointed Hasbro didn't do this with the Sneak Preview figure, but this surely would make up for that. We'll certainly look forward to a scan from Joe later tonight, be sure to check back for an update to this story soon!

Update: As promised, Joe has sent along a picture of his two Wookiees, confirming that like the Royal Guard and Senate Guard there are now two Wookiees to watch for. Happy Hunting!

What if Hasbro were to offer a new line of larger scale figures that put a focus on screen accuracy? The Probe Droid is curious if you'd walk away from the 3 3/4" line in favour of something new that catered more to adult collectors.
I'd be willing to start from scratch.
I'd be into it only if they were super articulated.
I'd only be into it if sculpt and silhouette were the main focus.
I might get a few, but I don't think I'm ready to start something new.
I'm only interested in 3 3/4" figures.
I don't collect the Hasbro stuff.
