Disney Weekends Final Report
Posted by Curto on July 1, 2008 at 12:21 PM CST:
From Rebelscum special correspondents Gretchen & Caribou:

"Hope this finds you al doing well. Since this is the final weekend of Disney's Star Wars Weekends for 2008 at Disney's Hollow Studios, we decided to make a final visit and see what we could experience.

"This trip we were able to catch the
Star Wars Celebrity Motorcade. On top of plenty of Star Wars characters, the visiting celebrities (Warwick Davis, Dave Filoni, and Jake Lloyd) for this weekend were also featured. For any fan in attendance, one of the highlights is getting to cheer on the members of the 501st.

"We also made one last stop by Wicket's Warehouse to see if there were any remaining
Star Wars Weekends merchandise that we just couldn't live without. If you wanted pin sets, collectable coins, character sketches, watches, and animation style cells, they were available. We did pick up a few items and took a couple pictures to remind us of all that had been available. Such as the four big figures that were on display, which were only available online this year.

"And as usual, when you are walking through the park you never know who you might run into. We got to meet a Gammorean Guard up close and personal.

"We included some pictures from our final visit. Thanks for letting us share our stories and pictures over the past month. Hope you enjoyed them all. May the force be you."
