Today, in preparation of Force Friday, Toys“R”Us Times Square welcomed Star Wars fans of all ages to come dressed as their favorite Star Wars character and take part in one-of-a-kind activities, including:

· Star Wars product demonstrations and activations
· Photo opportunities with Furbacca and Geoffrey the Giraffe
· Art classes with Jeff Carlisle
· Book signing and meet and greet with Steve Sansweet who has 25 acrylic display cases scattered about Toys "R" Us full of collectibles from Rancho Obi-Wan! Check the pics here!


Later today, when the clock strikes 12:01am on Force Friday, September 4, Toys“R”Us Times Square customers will be among the first to purchase toys from the new Star Wars collection. The first 200 fans in line will receive a Collector’s Edition LEGO Star Wars Commemorative Brick and an exclusive, limited edition Star Wars poster, and first 300 customers in line will receive a Star Wars Character Flashlight from JAKKS Pacific.


Our very own Chris Wyman is at the event tonight and will have a full report of what went down and how fans react to all of the various Star Wars: The Force Awakens collectibles.
