7th Legion Clone Trooper Hints At Changes
Posted by Curto on February 13, 2008 at 07:39 PM CST:
Just added to our Photo Archive, check out a few new photos of the 7th Legion Clone Trooper figure's Photo Archive page.

You'll notice right away that this is one of the 16 figures that are being re-released with a figure stand instead of the coin, but there is also evidence of a few other changes that have taken place behind the scenes as well.

Not only has the front pf the card been tweaked a bit due to the removal of the coin, but it also previews the figures from wave 2, characters from The Force Unleashed. What's interesting is that several figures from wave 1 are misnamed.

Tri-Droid is labeled as "2-1B Surgical Droid"
2-1B is labeled as "Po Nudo"
Po Nudo is labeled as "Stass Allie"

Wait a minute....Stass Allie?
Stass Allie has been long rumored for The Clone Wars upcoming toy line, so it seems that at one point she was considered for inclusion in wave 1.

Since we already know that the Mustafar Panning Droid was originally planned as accessories for Obi-Wan Kenobi and Darth Vader, but was combined into its own slot as the 8th figure.

Speculation is that Stass Allie was bumped from this wave, so chances are pretty good we'll see her in The Clone Wars line later in the year. Stay tuned for more on this, but join in the discussion in our forums.
