This week see's the debut of the third chapter in the Dawn of the Jedi series, "Force War!" In this issue the fearsome Rakata have invaded the Tython system, and war rages on every world. With Forcesabers in hand, the Je’daii have aligned themselves with unlikely generals: Daegen Lok, the mad Je’daii, and the stranger, the Force Hound Xesh—one the devil they know, the other the wild card they don’t! John Ostrander and Jan Duursema return to world of the past, to tell the dawning of the Jedi!

Also on sale are two Legacy (v2) issues. The first being a reprint of the popular #1 issue, as part of Dark Horse's promotion '#1 for $1.' The second is the first TPB for Legacy (v2) which collects the first 6 issues of Gabriel Hardman and Corinna Bechko's run on the life and times of Ania Solo, 130+ years after A New Hope!

Lastly the third in a line of beautiful hardcovers following everyone's favorite Sith Lord, Darth Vader and the Ninth Assassin. Collecting the 5-issue series by Tim Siedell, Stephen Thompson, and Iván Fernández, this tome presents a new story of Vader after the events of the prequels as he navigates the treachery of the new Empire. Obviously he survives, but the story is as beautiful as it is gripping. Plus, it's in hardcover!

And, for the fans who live in the electronic realm, the digital comics available this week at digital.darkhorse.com include: Star Wars: Dawn of the Jedi–Force War #1.

Moving into our nineteenth year of shooting Star Wars collectibles, we pause for a moment to consider legacy. Our photography is obviously recognizable because of the blue background, but looking further back, especially after we published The Man Who Shot Luke Skywalker galleries last December, we've put our minds to offering more classic Kenner backgrounds to our galleries. Follow this link to have a look and then let us know if you'd like to continue to explore this train of thought.
Focus on the Rebelscum legacy and keep it blue.
I love the nod to Kenner's history. I'd love to see Rebelscum embrace a more colourful vision.
