Fanboys director Kyle Newman sends us this update on the DVD release party that will be held on May 19th at the Golden Apple Comic Book Store in Los Angeles:
"Here is the final flyer the "FANBOYS DVD Release Party" on May 19th at the Golden Apple Comic Book Store on Melrose (near LaBrea) in Los Angeles from 8pm-10pm. Drinks will be served.
The event is also sponsored by TheForce-Cast (the official podcast of the TheForce.net) and IESB.net. Some cast and crew will be in attendance along with 501st, Rebel Forces and Mandalorians, to help us celebrate the release of FANBOYS on DVD... and The Phantom Menace turning 10!"

UPDATE: The release party was held last night with a fantastic turn out and live phone-in coverage from LA radio's KIIS FM! Congrats to Kyle, The Force-Cast and IESB.net for a party well thrown. Jimmy Mac sent over some pictures that you can check out below...(click on the pics for a larger view)
