Attention fans in the Dallas Forth Worth area: We just received the following news from our buddy Kyle Newman that should bring a smile to your faces.

"Man, does The Uptown Theater and Movie Geek Feed have a treat for you. On Thursday, July 23rd, for the first time in the DFW area, you can see Fanboys the way it was meant to be seen – on the big-screen! For whatever reason, when the movie was released in it’s limited theatrical run, the DFW got the shaft. Fanboys NEVER played in the theaters here. July 23rd is our way of rectifying that situation and celebrating two noteworthy events – the 1st Anniversary of MovieGeekFeed.com and the 10th Anniversary of Star Wars – Episode I: The Phantom Menace. What better way to celebrate than by seeing an all-digital screening of Episode I AND the movie that it helped inspire – Fanboys.

There will, of course, be contests and giveaways. We also expect all Star Wars fans to come out dressed in their favorite character costume. Show DFW who the REAL Fan boys AND girls do it!!!
