On this day exactly one year ago,
Star Wars fans across the country eagerly headed to their local movie theaters to see a brand new animated entry to George Lucas' space opera. After the release of
Revenge Of The Sith in 2005 brought an end to the
Star Wars saga, fans wondered if they would ever see their favorite franchise up on the big screen ever again.
Well, we did.
While
The Clone Wars theatrical release was met with a wide array of mixed reviews, there's no denying the effect it has had on the development of the hit animated TV series. As you all know, the TV series has erupted into a worldwide phenomenon that has captured the passion of fans of all ages across the board. It quickly gained more & more faithful followers as the series progressed throughout Season 1 and has led to the release of a slew of new merchandise for fans to add to their growing
Star Wars collections.
And from what we've seen briefly that's on tap for Season 2, it goes without saying that the fan base will be expanding even more this coming October.
What better way to celebrate the one year anniversary of
