Subject says it all, so 'nuff said!
But since you're already here....here's the full story.

During Toy Fair, Hasbro did not indicate that there would be any changes made to the packaging for 2011, and today's reveal confirms that. This new look will not be rolled out until 2012.

Hasbro confirmed in their Toy Fair presentation that The Vintage Collection would continue at least through 2012, which means there are no packaging changes planned for this line that has really struck a chord with collectors old and new.

Expect things to change next year for both The Clone Wars, Saga Legends, and possibly any non-Vintage realistic toys that are not in actual Vintage packaging (similar to the current "Shadows of the Dark Side/Blue Skies" design), in order to tap into the excitement over the 3-D movie release of The Phantom Menace. The REAL question is...will this new look get a real name this time around?

If you think this is way too early for such a reveal, you're not alone. But in order to stay on top of the excitement over the return of Darth Maul to the big and small screens, it makes sense to jump on it early...from a certain point of view, of course.

Does this mean that the figures from the postponed Episode I-themed wave will be on The Vintage Collection cardback? Yes. Frankly, the line would seem incomplete with them. What that might look like it anyone's guess at the moment, but if you want to see mine, just click on the thumbnail above.
