Geek Dad at Wired.com reports that Scalextric is set to release a couple of Star Wars-themed slot car tracks this coming fall. One set will be modeled after the Endor speeder bike chase in Return of the Jedi. Instead of on cars, a trooper and rebel will race around the track set on top of the previously noted speeder bikes. The second set will feature an X-Wing and TIE Fighter racing around a glow-in-the-dark Death Star-themed track. Click on the links below for more details on each of the upcoming slot-car releases.

I'm attending SDCC and will certainly get this awesome set!
I'm attending SDCC but have no interest in this line.
I'm not attending SDCC but hope to get this awesome set somehow.

I'm undecided but interested in seeing it added to the Photo Archive.
I'm more vexed at why toy collecting news is suddenly exclusive to USA Today instead of a site I go to for my Star Wars news...
