"Build Your Own Space Station Playset" is a new ebook by artist David Whitney that is now available for instant download or CD by mail. The book was designed for collectors of 3 3/4" action figures and offers a creative new way to display a collection. The simple print-and-build pages can be assembled to create a paper model Space Station. The PaperBlox Building System utilizes card stock or photo paper to create surprisingly strong paper modules that can be arranged and stacked in endless custom combinations. The playset can be built to any size as a stand alone display or to fit on a toy shelf. Artist and collector, David Whitney, designed the original artwork to resemble a working space station, complete with observation decks, command centers, computers, and transporter rooms. "I created it with Star Wars and Micronauts in mind to showcase my own collection, but any 3"-4" action figure will feel right at home," says Whitney. Whitney designed the PaperBlox Building System to be simple, but to look impressive and professional when completed. The only tools required to build the playset are a ruler, X-Acto knife (or scissors) and a gluestick. The book is available on CD or instant download at the Sherry Lou Toys website and on CD at Amazon.com.

Coming soon! Military Command Base Playset for GI Joe and other action figures is the next book in the PaperBlox series.

What if Hasbro were to offer a new line of larger scale figures that put a focus on screen accuracy? The Probe Droid is curious if you'd walk away from the 3 3/4" line in favour of something new that catered more to adult collectors.
I'd be willing to start from scratch.
I'd be into it only if they were super articulated.
I'd only be into it if sculpt and silhouette were the main focus.
I might get a few, but I don't think I'm ready to start something new.
I'm only interested in 3 3/4" figures.
I don't collect the Hasbro stuff.
