Twenty years ago today the Star Wars generation was once again sitting in large groups in darkened theaters to feel the Force on the silver screen like we'd never seen it before! Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope Special Edition opened on January 31, 1997. Those attending the first screenings across North America had the chance to walk away with a free Micro Machines mini set which included very, very small Micro Machines of the Millennium Falcon, Slave I, and the second Death Star.
