Sideshow Collectibles started taking pre-orders for imports of the Medicom VSD (Vinyl Super Deformed) Darth Vader and Stormtrooper figures they showed at Toy Fair last week.

Each figure is $59.99, limit two per person.

Some details from Sideshow:

The Stormtrooper stands roughly 10-inches tall, and the stylized caricature sculpture perfectly captures trooper's most iconic features, and inspires some personality. The figure is highly poseable, and includes his blaster.

Darth Vader stands roughly 10-inches tall, and the stylized caricature sculpture captures Vader's most iconic features. The figure is highly poseable, and includes his lightsaber, removable outer helmet, and fabric cape with real chain clasp.

Medicom Toy Corporation has designed and produced one of the most unique Star Wars collectible lines, the vinyl super-deformed series. These high quality figures were previously available only in Japan, and only in extremely limited quantities.

Next September marks the twentieth anniversary of Hasbro's Kenner The Power Of The Force action figure collection. The line introduced a new generation of children to the wonderful world of Star Wars toys and ushered in the modern collectibles we all enjoy today. Our ever-inquisitive Probe Droid is actively searching all corners of the galaxy to find out if there is interest in products that commemorate this very significant 1995 release.
I'd be into a Hasbro The Lost Line style assortment
I'd love to see Gentle Giant make a Jumbo Kenner 1995 Luke Skywalker
I'm behind both of these ideas!
I got started in 1995, but I have no interest in such a concept.
It isn't for me.
