When I stumbled across this one I knew, just for the back story alone, it needed to be spotlighted on eBay Today. Since we could ask Mark Hamill to authenticate the piece itself we did but he didn't get back to us in time. That said, I've compared the writing on this piece to all the handwritten examples I have, and there are a lot of consistencies. In my opinion it looks legitimate, and that makes the story extra cool. Follow this link to read the description on the Mark Hamill Autograph & R2-D2 drawing auction and marvel at the artistic skills of Luke Skywalker. Of course, if Mark gets back to us before this auction ends I'll make sure to let you know. Also, despite the cool story, this piece should only be worth about $250...
