Despite
yesterday's report about the latest wave of
The Black Series 6-Inch line being found at Walgreens, not everyone is having the same success with those, but there are other
Star Wars items to be found, both there, and elsewhere, as per the email we received from Rebelscum reader Alex B.
Greetings,
I found these items (attached below) today, 9/11, at a Walgreens in Portland, Oregon and thought I might spread the word. While they didn't have any Star Wars action figures whatsoever, 3 3/4", 6" or otherwise (or really any toys at all, for that matter) I did find these items and couldn't pass them up. The Rebels magnetic dartboard was $6.99 (or buy two get one free), the plastic Darth Vader jack-o-lantern was $14.99.
While I don't have any pictures, a Toys R Us I went to had a large Star Wars aisle with backpacks, a Rebels sleeping bag, LEGOs, and 20" figures such as Ezra, Kanan, TIE fighter pilot, Chewbacca, scout trooper, and a couple others. They also had the even larger Inquisitor. Also on display was a Star Wars Toss Across, a large plush Yoda that moved, light up, talked and played music... In the children's bedding section there was a large stuffed Chopper and various types of Rebels bedding such as sheets, comforters, and other such things. I snagged the boxed set of Star Wars Tech Decks.
Meanwhile, a Walmart I went to didn't have much of anything new in their tiny Star Wars exception except for Kanan's lightsaber, which was pretty cool.
No one had any new Star Wars figures at all, unfortunately. And no Star Wars Hotwheels yet.
