Longtime Rebelscum reader Alex Newborn writes in with his latest find:
"Hey Dan,

I went to the Wal-Mart in Muscle Shoals, AL last night and noticed that some of their newest Star Wars figures were priced $3.75.

It's pretty rare to see figures with a sticker on them, so the red and white sticker caught my eye. I scanned two of the first ones I saw, a BARC Trooper and a blue-striped Clone Trooper, and they were still over $7. I assumed someone had been having fun with a sticker gun at Wal-Mart's expense, when the next couple of figures that I scanned actually did show up as $3.75.

And not older ones, but some that just hit shelves here in February. The Tatooine Wave, BD's No. 30 through 37, inclusive: Han as Stormtrooper, Luke as Stormtrooper, Spacetrooper (not to be confused with the Clone Wars Spacetrooper), Jawa and WED Treadwell, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Pons Limbic, Wioslea, and Trinto Duaba/Dice Ibegon.

In addition, I also found BD No. 2 Luke Skywalker (sandstorm), BD No. 6 Yarna d'al Gargan, BD No. 24 Commander Faie, and BD No. 29 Clone Trooper (327th Star Corps) at this lower price.

I'm attaching a photo of the figures with the stickers, and a scan of one of the receipts. (This was my cash receipt, I used a credit card for others.)

Alex Newborn"

Great score, Alex...thanks for the report!

Poll
George Lucas has announced he's done making blockbuster feature films after Indiana Jones 5. He states that one of the factors that weighted heavy on the decision was the negative comments made by fans. The Probe Droid is curious what you think about that.
We didn't mean it! Please make more movies!
Boo. I don't like that at all. More movies please.
We got six movies that tell the full tale. I'm happy.
Good for you George! You've earned it.
Thank goodness!
I don't see the irony here.
