Having checked out Sideshow Collectibles' 1/6 scale Dewback creature in our Photo Archive, the Probe Droid is curious whether you'd like to see more creatures offered in their 1/6 scale collection.
Heck yeah! but only the most iconic creatures that interacted directly with our heroes
Give me everything. nothing is too obscure.
I'd get some.
I'm saving all my money for a Rancor with a Sith Witch on its back.
I don't collect the 1/6 stuff, but I like to look at it.
I do collect the 1/6 scale stuff, but I don't want any creatures.

Rebelscum Presents Wireless Collecting News

WAP enabled Star Wars collecting news! Rebelscum is pleased to roll out an all-new level of service to the Star Wars collecting community: wireless news. Now fans with web-enabled cell phones can keep up to date with the latest Star Wars collecting news even when away from their computers. Simply call up the "www.rebelscum.com" address with your Internet compatible phone and you'll be able to view our main page news one article at a time, starting with the latest. Fast, easy, and mobile.

What is "WAP"?
WAP stands for Wireless Application Protocol which, like HTML, is a common "standardized" language used to display information on small devices such as cell phones.

Can my cell phone receive Rebelscum news?
That depends on your phone and provider. Many of the popular Nokia phones, most every current SprintPCS phone, and a plethora of other cell phone manufacturers offer this nifty service. Gelon.net - an excellent source for WAP information - provides an abbreviated list of some WAP enabled devices right here.

I don't have a cell phone - can I see an example of what a WAP site looks like?
We highly recommend the cell phone emulator over at Yospace.com. Free to try and very cool.

Moving our favorite hobby into the wireless realm is all part of our ongoing effort to bring our readership the best collecting site possible.

Since WAP is a new environment and implemenation varies by equipment and provider, we're very interested in hearing from users of the service. Specifically, which phone you have, how it works, whether you saw the graphics, and if you encountered any errors. Please write with feedback.
