Based on his appearance on Star Wars: Rebels, the Grand Admiral Thrawn action figure featured on this page was released in January, 2017 as part of the third wave of single carded figures in Hasbro's Rogue One collection. This assortment also saw new action figures based on the Imperial Death Trooper with specialist gear, Bodhi Rook, Shoretrooper, and Sergeant Jyn Erso in Imperial Ground Crew disguise. Also included in this wave was a carry forward of the Princess Leia Organa action figure from the previous assortment.

- Hasbro corrected the paint design on the Grand Admiral Thrawn action figure. The earlier releases, like the one pictured here, was painted with the wrong rank bars. The corrected version has red, yellow, and blue buttons on the rank bars.
