Snowtroopers wear specialized white armor that protects them from freezing climates and provides camouflage on snow-covered worlds. Gearing for battle, Snowtroopers attack and destroy the Rebels' hidden base on the ice-covered planet Hoth.
The SL16 Snowtrooper action figure was released in May, 2014 as part of the third wave of Hasbro's five point of articulation Saga Legends collection. The wave also included the SL13 Obi-Wan Kenobi, SL14 Luke Skywalker, and SL15 Darth Maul, action figures.
