Depending on your local climate, allow between 8-12 hours for the figure to dry. Once it is dry, the fabric will keep its shape until you start altering the pose. Before you walk away thinking you are done, turn the figure upside down to allow any excess water the got into the boots to come out. This water will absorb into the pants, and that's A-OK. Give it a bit longer to dry and you are golden.
