What began in 1977 and concluded in 2019 "didn't just end Star Wars‘ sequel trilogy; it concluded a story that began over 40 years ago" says the movie's producers Lewis Townley and Jared Bever, who form Brickfilm Days.

Through an extreme amount of effort, they have put together a video that encompasses all nine episodes of the Skywalker saga in flowing stop-motion using LEGO Star Wars minifigures.

Produced by Townley and Bever, the nearly 19 minute-long video required six months to put together and was animated by nine different groups of fans who each took an episode to work on, creating subtle differences in style and motion through the sequence.

"It’s a reminder of just how much the franchise means to so many. And also how much we love LEGO." says Townley and Bever.
