Propstore – one of the world’s leading film and TV entertainment memorabilia companies has today announced it is to hold its next poster auction this September, with the posters and artwork on offer expected to fetch in excess of £350,000. Over 530 rare, sought-after posters and artworks will be sold during Propstore’s auction on Thursday 15th September 2022 from 15:00 GMT.

The auction is suitable for fans with a variety of budgets and is now open for registration and proxy bidding via: https://propstoreauction.com/auctions/info/id/322. The auction will be live streamed online for fans to track the action and participate in bidding.

Of particular interest to our readers are pieces from famed cinema poster artist, Tom Chantrell, best known for his iconic Star Wars artwork. The auction will feature a collection of fantastic lots, including a never-before-seen UK Quad "Style C" transparency from Star Wars: A New Hope, estimated between £3,000 - 5,000. Also featured is a "Gone With The Wind Style" UK poster from The Empire Strikes Back, estimated between £8,000 - 10,000.
