The Darth Vader action figure featured on this page was part of the first wave of The Black Series's Walmart exclusive phase III 3 3/4-inch collection. It began to hit shelves in October, 2015 along side Luke Skywalker and Chewbacca action figures. The packaging for this assortment is the only thing new about them.
