COMMENTS
This timeline in this issue indicates the events of this series take place 33 years before A New Hope, while the online timeline indicates 33.5 years.

In the Dark Horse Message Boards, author/editor Randy Stradley gives the pronunciation of Master Choi's name, from a hidden clue on page 15 of this issue. "Interestingly, 'Tsui' is pronounced 'Choi.'" So Saesee Tiin's line sounds like 'Happy? Happy, Choi Choi?"; a reference to the cartoon series Ren & Stimpy.
SYNOPSIS
Chancellor Valorum has gathered a small group of Senators to vote on sanctions against the Yinchorri. He informs Yoda via hologram that it has been done at a great personal cost.

Eeth Koth, Mace Windu, Saesee Tiin, K'kruhk with the dead body of Lilit Twoseas return to their Republic cruiser to see a large amount of dead Yinchorri as well as another fallen comrade, Theen Fida. Mace orders an immediate departure. Upon boarding the ship they find the Devaronian prisoner making a call to his cousin Vilmarh, but he is stopped short by Master Tsui Choi.

Master Yaddle confers with the remaining Council on Coruscant that the Holocron of Tharence Wo mentions a fourth world called Uhanayih, the within world. At that moment Mace Windu interrupts via holocomm letting them they have found the Yinchorri command center -- within a lifeless world close to the Yinchorri sun.

On Yinchorr, as Master Koon and the other Jedi ready for another attack, Master Giiett is shot in the back by a flying Yinchorri warrior. He is seriously hurt, and implores restraint from his fellow Jedi asking them instead to leave him. He hands Plo Koon one of his lightsabers to return to the Temple.

A squad of Yinchorri chase after the fleeing Jedi, but Micah stops them, saying he may very well reveal the secrets of the Jedi before he dies. Using his remaining lightsaber, he plunges it through the fuel cell of a Yinchorri tank destroying himself and the Yinchorri. The Jedi teams as well as the Council, and even Darth Sidious feel his passing thru the Force. The cruiser departs safely for the hidden Command Center.

On Coruscant, Chancellor Valorum explains to Yoda that the Senate has agreed to send the Republic Navy as well as enact a technical embargo on the Yinchorri. Valorum feels it should not have been as difficult as it was to get this passed, but these are strange times, he admits.

The Jedi Cruiser exits hyperspace into a flotilla of Yinchorri warships and take some damage. Suddenly the warships start exploding, as the Republic Navy bears down on them. Master Choi pilots the ship directly into the open door to the secret Command Center and crashes through the main command building. The center is run by members of the Yinchorri intelligentsia, who immediately surrender.

Supreme Chancellor Valorum informs the Council that the navy has the situation under control, the quarantine of the system is in place and Vilmarh Grahrk will be tracked down and dealt with. He goes on to thank the Jedi for aiding the Republic once again. The Jedi teams return and solemnly bear their fallen friends into the Temple.

The Council convenes to determine whom should take Master Giiett's place on the council. Mace Windu suggests that Yoda's former padawan, Ki-Adi-Mundi be asked to join. Yoda is more concerned with who might be behind this entire plot, as Villie had not the motive for such deception.

Within sight of the Jedi Temple, Darth Maul questions his Masters motives for having the Jedi eliminate the Yinchorri. Darth Sidious explains that they would have impeded their plans one day, and are know dealt with. He admonishes Maul and tells him he will soon get his chance to kill more Jedi.
