Avid Star Wars fan Cathy Kendrick has devised a game that is a play on that infamous Facebook letter tile game (that was a play on a more famous letter tile board game) but with a Star Wars twist! As well as being fun and a great way to break the ice with fellow Star Wars fans at next year's Star Wars Celebration Anaheim, it also benefits Rancho Obi-Wan, which is run by friend-to-all Steve Sansweet.

Star Wars With Friends At Celebration Anaheim 2020

The inaugral game, held at Star Wars Celebration Chicago, was limited to 350 players but with interest being so high the invitation to Star Wars With Friends at Celebration Anaheim 2020 is being opened to all!

Check out the Rancho Obi-Wan store for all the play options. And you can't make it, or want to get involved without playing there is a prize draw raffle as well. And there's swag too - so much swag! Head over to the game's Facebook page to get a look at all the stickers, patches and pins that Cathy has cooked up.

Back before the world wide web and social media ruled our shopping habits there was a long-established practice of driving around all the nearby toy stores to hunt down the latest releases. Obviously times have changed and online retail is far more important than it was twenty-five years ago - but has it killed the toy run? What was your shopping experience over the Triple Force Friday product launch weekend?
I managed to find everything I wanted in stores!
I found some but had to resort to big box websites to complete my haul.
I didn't bother stepping outside and ordered everything online.
I haven't bought any of the TFF product yet. Roll on clearance sales.
I'm waiting for the TV series/movie release before I commit.
I've so over it, no more Star Wars collecting for me.
