So, the party kicked off at 8:00 PM at the Soho House in New York City and only an extremely small handful of retail, licensing, and media partners were in attendance.

The night began with Dan Lujan, Director of Media Operations, opening up with a warm and heartfelt welcoming. What came after, was an extremely moving and amazing video, describing how a small hobby shop in Japan has now become one of the world's finest creators of collectibles in the world.

Following the film, Chris Spitale, Senior Manager of Global Product Development from Lucasfilm and Julian Montoya, Vice President of Global Toys from Warner Bros. Consumer Products, conducted speeches honoring Kotobukiya for their professionalism, dedication, and commitment toward the industry.

After the speeches, Hiroyo Shizimu, Chairwoman of Kotobukiya Co., Ltd. thanked us for our support for the company, which we all toasted to.

Upon our departure, attendees were given a gift bag that included, amongst many other great things, the Golden R2-D2 ARTFX+ statue as a token of Kotobukiya's appreciation.

This was truly an amazing event to attend and the Rebelscum/Cool Toy Review team wishes nothing but the best for Kotobukiya in the years ahead.
