Darth Vader, Dark Lord of the Sith, was the scourge of the Jedi, a master of the dark side of the Force and a fearsome enforcer. In the chaos that accompanied Palpatine's rise to power, Darth Vader became one of the Emperor's most loyal servants.
The Emperor entrusted him with the elimination of the Jedi Knights. During these dark times, Darth Vader and his agents destroyed the remnants of the Jedi Order. This highly-detailed statue, based on the original Lucasfilm costumes and props, was sculpted and painted by Gentle Giant Ltd. We hope you enjoy it.
The incredible The Empire Strikes Back [Kneeling] Darth Vader statue was shown in the Gentle Giant showroom at the 2007 International Toy Fair, but it wasn't officially announced until March 22, 2007. This striking statue began shipping to collectors that got in on the 5000 piece production run the following October.
