Having previously announced the regular version of their 1/6th Scale Death Trooper (Specialist) in September of 2016, Hot Toys officially announced the deluxe edition featured on this page on the 15th of the following November. this new version, which began shipping to North American collectors in March, 2017, featured a LED light on the helmet, a display based designed to the represent the harsh terrain of Lah'mu, a Special Forces DLT-19 long-range blaster rifle, and Jyn Erso's Stormtrooper doll.
