After actor Mads Mikkelsen tweeted a picture of the first action figure made in his likeness, Hasbro officially announced the production of their Galen Erso action figure on January 12, 2017. The Galen Erso action figure on this page was released in May, 2017 as part of the fourth wave of single carded figures in Hasbro's Rogue One collection. The assortment also included Lieutenant Sefla, Admiral Raddus, and Rebels Fenn Rau. The full assortment was revealed on February 3, 2017.
