Replacing the Saga Legends collection, Hasbro's Movie Heroes line continued the repack assortments intended to keep popular characters on the shelves for new Star Wars collectors. Though not considered the second wave, the revised first assortment included six 100% brand new figures based on the key players in Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace. While limited in articulation, the new set of figures including Jar Jar Binks, Anakin Skywalker, Darth Maul, Padmé Amidala, along with light up figures of Obi-Wan Kenobi and Qui-Gon Jinn. Each figure in this assortment features one of four randomly packed tan display stand, a playing card, and a black six-sided die.
