Comments: A true hero of the Rebellion, Wedge Antilles has flown in some of the most important battles against the Empire, and lived to tell about them. The brave young Corellian first piloted an X-wing fighter in the battle of Yavin and helped Luke Skywalker destroy the first Death Star.

A few years later, during the battle of Hoth, he and tailgunner Wes Janson were the first to successfully take down an Imperial walker using a harpoon and tow-cable.

During the Battle of Endor, Wedge, as Red Leader, spearheaded an attack that took aim at the Second Death Star's main reactor. In an amazing display of death-defying aviation, Wedge zoomed in with the Millenium Falcon and destroyed the massive space station. He will forever be known as one of the galaxy's finest pilots!

Points of Interest:
  • Wedge Antilles has flown against the Death Star in the Battle of Yavin. He's battled AT-ATs during the Battle of Hoth. He helped destroy the second Death Star in the Battle of Endor. Now the working man of the Star Wars galaxy gets an action figure worthy of such accomplishments.
  • This figure is a kit-bash using the head from the Wedge figure included in the Rebel Pilots Cinema Scene and the body of Dutch Vander (Gold Leader).

Now that you've had your first look at Hasbro's 2013 San Diego Comic-Con exclusive Black Series Boba Fett and Han Solo in Carbonite two pack, the Probe Droid is curious what you think of the set.

I'm undecided but interested in seeing it added to the Photo Archive.
I'm more vexed at why toy collecting news is suddenly exclusive to USA Today instead of a site I go to for my Star Wars news...
