    Comments: As the Clone Wars progressed, the Confederacy of Independent Systems became less and less concerned with preserving the landscape or native life of the systems it attempted to conquer. Enter the Heavy Missile Platform, commonly call the droid gunship, an armored, aerial juggernaut designed to lay waste to its target area, destroying any and all opposition. Capable of delivering a punishing bombardment against air and ground targets, it was deployed wherever it could do the most damage. In the Battle of Kashyyyk, entire Wookiee villages were turned into lifeless, radioactive swamps by just a few HMP droids.
