Incorporating design elements from the elegant Imperial shuttle, and tactical lessons learned under fire with earlier military transport craft, Sienar Fleet Systems built the Sentinel-class landing craft. It is a powerful, predatory vehicle designed for delivering Imperial infantry safely under fire to the most dangerous areas of the galaxy. Sporting heavy armor plating and deflector shields capable of resisting enemy air-power and anti-aircraft fire, it is a formidable combat craft in its own right, as well as being able to deliver six squads of stormtroopers, and a contingent of speeder bikes.
