Small, and typically unarmed, the Neimoidian shuttle is the craft of choice for Trade Federation barons and other persons of note with the Confederacy of Independent Systems. Incapable of interstellar, or even interplanetary, flight, it is used for ship to ship transport, or transit down to a planet's surface. Typically, the cockpit is stripped out and replaced with automatics to allow more room for the luxurious passenger accommodations.
