TIE Fighters are the main starfighters used by the evil Imperial forces. TIE fighters are speedy, hard to hit, easily maneuverable and are typically employed en masse. Armed with laser cannons, these fighters attack the heroic Rebel Alliance forces in battles throughout the galaxy.
Points of Interest:
This version of the TIE FIghter is a repaint of the 2005 TIE Fighter.
Because of limitations of the bluescreen technology when filming Star Wars, the original blue-grey color scheme was changed to a light grey/white colors so it would stand out from the background.
