Sideshow Collectibles' 1/4 scale Grand Moff Tarkin Premium Format Figure was first revealed through a work-in-progress video on their site on September 21st, 2011. On October, 22, 2011 they published the first official image of the statue on their Facebook page, and exactly one week after Tarkin went up for pre-order. THe statue began shipping in the third quarter of 2012.
