Captain Rex is a tough, free-thinking Clone Trooper who leads the 501st Legion under the command of Jedi general Anakin Skywalker during the Clone Wars.

The second wave of figures in The Black Series 2015 blue TIE Fighter Pilot packed collection offered up a slightly revised #02 Luke Skywalker (Hoth Battle Gear) along with the kit bashed #07 Darth Vader (Dagobah Test), the repacked #08 Stormtrooper, the realistic Phase II #09 Captain Rex, the reimagined #10 Jon 'Dutch' Vander, the rereleased #11 Chewbacca, the debut #12 Clone Commander Wolffe, the repainted #13 Clone Commander Doom, and the rereleased #14 Imperial Navy Commander action figures. This assortment began hitting shelves in May, 2015.
