  • Point of Interest:
This figure was originally package as 2-1B on The Empire Strikes Back 41 back card. The figure was renamed as Two-Onebee (2-1B) on the The Empire Strikes Back 48 back card and then again to Too-Onebee (2-1B) on the Return Of The Jedi 48 back card and every card back after.

Comments: Sure the vintage 2-1B action figure was Johnny-on-the-spot whenever a farm boy needed to get some serious plastic surgery or a new bio-mechanic hand, but what has he done for the Rebellion lately? More than you know pal, more than you'll ever know! For instance, whom do you think the Rebels turn to on New Year's Eve for a designated driver? Who do you think shovels the walks on the Hoth base and scrubs the moss of the Ewok suspension bridges on the Forest moon of Endor? That's right, the good old medical droid, that's who. He doesn't mind much though, since it keeps them off his precious collection of medical gurneys.

Major Variations: Though all vintage figures have minor variations, the 2-1B sports one major variation. The figure was moulded in both flat blue and semi-metallic blue plastic. Both of the versions have minor variations that would be impossible to confirm are exclusive, but to date have only been documented on their respective major variations.

The minor variations can be found on the figure's arms. The Semi-metallic 2-1B has an extra sculpted 'bolt' on half way down on its two 'fingers' and another on the top portion of the vertical bar on the front of the arm (near what would be the bicep).

Though availability was likely different from one region to the next, it is believed that generally speaking the semi-metallic version is rarer than the Flat Blue version.

George Lucas has announced he's done making blockbuster feature films after Indiana Jones 5. He states that one of the factors that weighted heavy on the decision was the negative comments made by fans. The Probe Droid is curious what you think about that.
We didn't mean it! Please make more movies!
Boo. I don't like that at all. More movies please.
We got six movies that tell the full tale. I'm happy.
Good for you George! You've earned it.
    Thank goodness!
I don't see the irony here.
