  • Point of Interest:
See-Threepio (C-3PO) shipped on all cards from the STAR WARS 12 back to the The Empire Strikes Back 41 back. It overlapped its replacement C-3PO (With Removable Limbs) on The Empire Strikes Back 47 and 48 back card.

This figure first appeared on the Star Wars 12 back card.

Comments: Never accused of being the most accurate figure in the vintage line, See-Threepio (C-3PO) still got props for keepin’ it real. Even though unlike some of his 12 back chums, the protocol droid did get replaced with a newer version in 1982, but when you take his spiffy sack away --and put his arms and legs back on—you’d be hard pressed to spot any sculpting differences.

Major Variations: Though all vintage figures have minor variations, the only major variation is the hard to come by Japanese Takara version, which, though in a similar stance, is an entirely different sculpt. It is easiest to spot by looking at the arms and especially the head.

    Poll
George Lucas has announced he's done making blockbuster feature films after Indiana Jones 5. He states that one of the factors that weighted heavy on the decision was the negative comments made by fans. The Probe Droid is curious what you think about that.
We didn't mean it! Please make more movies!
Boo. I don't like that at all. More movies please.
We got six movies that tell the full tale. I'm happy.
Good for you George! You've earned it.
    Thank goodness!
I don't see the irony here.
