  • Point of Interest:
This figure debuted in the United States on The Power Of The Force card, and in Europe on the Tri-Logo card. It was never packaged on a Canadian card.

Comments: Though not usually the topic of many conversations, the Imperial Gunner figure is sculpted after the soldiers who worked the weapons of the second death Star and not the first. Eagle-eyed star Wars fans will note that the guys operating the big laser in A new Hope wore large padded chest plates, where the ones in Return Of The Jedi, just like this dude, did their evil in non-restrictive black jumpsuits.

Major Variations: Though all vintage figures have minor variations, the Imperial Gunner action figure has no known major variations.

    Endor Blaster
This weapon was moulded in many shades of gray and blue/gray, as well as black plastic using at least three slightly different sculpts. All the gray and blue/gray versions can be found with the AT-ST Driver, Princess Leia Organa (In Combat Poncho), and B-Wing Pilot action figures. The Black accessory was only included with the Imperial Gunner and A-Wing Pilot (both Power Of The Force and Droids versions).

Now that you've had your first look at Hasbro's 2013 San Diego Comic-Con exclusive Black Series Boba Fett and Han Solo in Carbonite two pack, the Probe Droid is curious what you think of the set.
I'm attending SDCC and will certainly get this awesome set!
I'm attending SDCC but have no interest in this line.
I'm not attending SDCC but hope to get this awesome set somehow.

I'm undecided but interested in seeing it added to the Photo Archive.
I'm more vexed at why toy collecting news is suddenly exclusive to USA Today instead of a site I go to for my Star Wars news...
