  • Point of Interest:
Originally available in the 1983 Jabba the Hutt Dungeon playset, this figure first appeared carded on the Return Of The Jedi 77 back card in the United States, but can also be found on the Emperor offer Canadian Return Of The Jedi 65 Back card.

Comments: To modern Star Wars fans, the names ‘Klaatu’, 'Nikto', 'Barada', and 'Weequay' are those of species (not to mention nods to pop culture), but that wasn't the case in the old school days. Each of those names were the character's actual names. As such, Klaatu (In Skiff Guard Outfit) was actually the same guy as the dude with the furry skirt that came out on the 65 back cards mere months earlier.

Major Variations: Though all vintage figures have minor variations, the Klaatu (In Skiff Guard Outfit) action figure has no documented major variations.

Now that you've had your first look at Hasbro's 2013 San Diego Comic-Con exclusive Black Series Boba Fett and Han Solo in Carbonite two pack, the Probe Droid is curious what you think of the set.
I'm attending SDCC and will certainly get this awesome set!
I'm attending SDCC but have no interest in this line.
I'm not attending SDCC but hope to get this awesome set somehow.

I'm undecided but interested in seeing it added to the Photo Archive.
I'm more vexed at why toy collecting news is suddenly exclusive to USA Today instead of a site I go to for my Star Wars news...
